A mere five months after the ArenaNet-developed MMOG charged into battle, NCsoft revealed it had garnered the support of 1 million combatants. In June 2006, NCsoft followed up that announcement with news that the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars Factions, the game's first stand-alone expansion, had combined to sell more than 2 million copies.

Players will be able to retain any achievements earned during the trial weekend when Eye of the North officially releases. For more on the sneak-peek weekend, head over to NCsoft's official site.
