Community: Gamers Giving Back to Haiti
Gaming World Events is hosting their very first Guild Wars in-game event this weekend, and it's for a great cause! "Gamers Giving Back to Haiti" will help raise money for the Canadian Red Cross and their relief efforts in Haiti. This six-hour event runs on Sunday, February 7 from 12:00-6:00 CST in Lion's Arch International District 1. On top of all the in-game prizes they'll be giving away, the Gaming World Events team will raffle off 10 copies of "The Art of Guild Wars 2" hardback books and a bunch of signed Guild Wars 2 art postcards, donated by ArenaNet. The goal is to reach $1337, because after all, we're gamers, right? Guild Wars Community Manager Regina Buenaobra will stop by to support the Gaming World Events crew.
